Come see our Year 10 Drama Performance

Our Year 10 drama students would like to invite you to an informal performance tomorrow afternoon, Thursday 14th April starting at 3.30pm and lasting for approx. 1 hour, in the Drama Studio, all friends and family welcome.

This performance is for the students to show case their mock Unit 2 work, which is a piece of scripted theatre titled ‘Face’ by Benjamin Zephaniah. This performance will be assessed and used to help form a more accurate prediction of their final grade.

We do hope you will be able to attend and show your support for all the students!

A Summer Nights Drama

A Summer Nights Drama

Wickersley School and Sports College

The evening kicks off with our brand new production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, in which a 1950’s holiday camp is on a collision course with a supernatural Ibizan beach party from the future – but where does the talking ass fit in ?! After that get ready to enjoy musical theatre show tunes from Grease, Little Shop of Horrors and The Lion King and meet the family who have no time for anyone who is all Fur Coat and No Knickers, plus a whole performance promenade of drama, tragedy and comedy!

A sizzling summer’s evening of entertainment showcasing the very best of drama across all three schools!

We also have ice creams available in the interval!

Tickets are available here.

Girls Football

Last night we took our girls football squad to Wickersley, for some of them it was their first football fixture. The team played really well together and were a credit to Clifton school and themselves. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the match and were keen for their photo to be shared.

Notable achievements included Maisy Smith who had an excellent first game in defence, Kacie Atkinson has played brill in the net every game too!

Well done girls.
