Y10 hospitality pupils have been baking goods which could be sold at the cake sale for the last month.

Staff donated fruit from their harvest for the pupils to use in their cooking.

Pupils and staff entered the Clifton meets bake off competition in a variety of categories. This was judged by Sam Beighton ASDA and Julie Tester (exam invigilator) Karen Creaghan retired teacher.

Congratulations to the winners of the Bake Off, who are:

Molly Burgin Y10 – Cupcakes
Ethan Gale Y10 – Bread
Sabeehah Aslam Y9 – Cookies
Alexandra Kovacova Y7 – International
The final total raised will be announced next week!

Mr Hardcastle and Mr Buttrell agreed with all the judges decisions after doing a tasting check of all entries.

All the entries were then sold as part of the bake sale.

A raffle with prizes donated by members of staff. Was expertly run by Pat Ironmonger.

Name the clown (still running) Name revealed next week. The clown was made and donated by Judy Sissons a retired member of Clifton staff.

Bakes were purchased by staff and pupils during Thursday breaks.
