Y10 and Y11 have 7 or 8 lessons of PSHE a year, taught on rotation with their English lessons. The focus is on evaluating attitudes, examining values, developing skills and understanding the views of others, as well as learning information about each topic.

Teaching styles are highly interactive, predominantly group based, and reflect our commitment to enabling all pupils to participate equally, within a safe, supportive, challenging and fun environment.

PSHE contributes to ensuring students leave us fully able to participate in society. Student feedback is very positive about their experiences in PSHE, and they regularly comment about how useful and relevant it is for life, both now and beyond school.

PSHE is taught by a small, and highly committed team of teachers, in one lesson per week for Y7, Y8 and Y9 students.
