Last Tuesday 26th of September, our school celebrated the European Languages Day with different activities during the breaks where staff and students were offered a little taste of some of the different cultures we have in Europe.

Thus, in one of the rooms the French film “Les choristes” was projected while in the room next door, a tongue-twister battle with tongue-twisters from different European. Additionally, there were two more activities carried out simultaneously: a Photo-cool with typical expressions of different European languages and a little sweets shop to collect money for the trip the MFL department is organising.

However, the school did not only placed at students’ and staff’ disposal some of the European languages, but the school’s canteen offered the possibility of tasting some of the European cultures by serving typical European meals, such as Swedish meatballs and Greek salad.
