Gold, Silver, Bronze Awards!

Over the last few weeks, students in every year group have been awarded with Gold, Silver and Bronze prizes for their aspirational attitude towards effort, attendance and punctuality.

Three times a year, students will receive a credit score based on average effort, attendance and punctuality. These credits are quantified, with top achievers receiving either a Gold, Silver or Bronze award depending on the number of credits received.

Students who won awards received a signed certificate from Mr Hardcastle, a letter of congratulations home, and a Clifton Community School Gold, Silver or Bronze pin, which they can wear on their school jumpers or cardigans.

From the data they collected, the students created a tally chart which was then converted into a bar chart and pictogram. Each student presented their findings in a poster, which are now proudly displayed on a board in the classroom.
