Further Information...

Further information is available from Mrs M Atkin for all of the above mentioned events & visits. As new visits are announced they will be updated onto the web site.

  • At Clifton School we pride ourselves on the variety & availability of extra curricular clubs, visits and residentials that we run. We will as a School undertake any "reasonable adjustments" to counteract any disadvantages a disabled person may face.
  • Please be aware that the school does not use the Collective Passport Scheme. All pupils must hold their own individual passports with a minimum of 6 months validity remaining on return to the UK. Forms are available online or from your local Post Office.
  • For all overseas residential's pupils must also have their own European Health Insurance Card. This card replaces the old E111 and is used should medical treatment be needed whilst away. Application forms are available from the Post Office or online.

Off Site Visits

There has been a recent guideline change with regard to pupils taking part in off site visits.  The Learning Outside the Classroom Council have removed the need for specific parental/guardian permission for local activities which form part of the normal curriculum.

As such, from September Clifton will be adopting this new practice and allowing visits during lesson times to local places (Clifton Park, Shops and other places within walking distance) without the need to notify parents before hand.

For all other off site visits pupils will be required to return completed reply slips as normal.

If you would like further clarification on this please contact Mrs M Atkin (Educational Visits Coordinator) at school.
