South Yorkshire Cross Country Championships February 2018

Mrs. Reed had the absolute pleasure of taking Malak, Alex and Ellie to the South Yorkshire Cross-Country Champs on Saturday 3rd February and despite the freezing, wet, muddy conditions, the three of them were a real credit to Clifton.

The final results are not in yet, but in the meantime, please congratulate them on their immense efforts in such challenging conditions.
Well done, guys!

Cross Country At Wath Comprehensive School

30 pupils of our own pupils visited Wath Comprehsive School for the first cross country event of the season.
The pupils were a true credit to school and for the second year running we had the biggest turn out from the local schools!
Year 7 boys and girls lead the way with some great performances from Mitchell and Billie-Jo coming in the top ten and Boris showing determination by pulling up the rear and his crossing line comment of ‘never again I am shattered’ to then ask where we are next week!
Year 8 and Year 9 boys and girl responded well to a tough field and some tactics of tripping them over on the homeward stretch!
Year 10 and 11 girls came in strong with Tiegan and Shantel coming in the top ten in a tough field of runners.
Well done to all of the runners for their hard work and determination!
