The English faculty took Y8 down to the Remembrance Service in Clifton Park to act as ambassadors for the school.
We are brimming with pride at the impeccable behaviour, level of maturity and respect towards the Soldiers that was demonstrated. All the students greeted the soldiers and broke into a spontaneous round of applause as they marched away at the end of the service. Everyone present felt the power of this emotional experience.
Kurtis Rich had the honour of laying a wreath at the War Memorial.
The speaker shared a message of peace and Clifton students returned to school determined to be examples of how to respect each other.
