Monday 9th July saw year 10 celebrate their achievements from throughout the year at their end of year awards assembly.
All winners were very deserving of the accolades they received some students have excelled in specific subjects areas; some have worked hard to improve their effort throughout the year; some have upheld the highest standard of effort in all aspects of school life; some have kept a spotless attendance record and others have been nominated for the ‘Endeavour Award’ by their form tutors.
It is difficult to single out any one student in particular due to the amazing accomplishments of so many students that were recognised during the awards assembly, not only for academic success but also embodying The Clifton Way and playing a full part in life at Clifton Community School. The pastoral team that supports the year group continue to be impressed at and proud of how they are able to build on and surpass last year’s achievements, continuing to make progress and set themselves up for brilliantly for their final and most important year at school. A special mention must go to this year’s Top Boy, Landon Drabble, and Top Girl, Zeba Basharat, who both received their awards due to their accomplishments in a vast array of subjects and also as recognition for the improvements they have made in attendance and effort throughout the year.
Well done to all award winners!
