Almost three years ago Clifton school was approached by the University of Sheffield and the Grimm and Co organisation to do a project about Roma girls. This project was supposed to last for five months, however, due to a high popularity with the students, it has spanned two years. Read more

Our very first Y7 Performing Arts Showcase is taking place at 6.30pm on Thursday 7th June! This is designed to build on the success of our open event in November and to give our Y7s the chance to perform on stage to family and friends, showcasing the work they’ve done this year in Dance, Drama and Music. Battle of the Bands 2018 has been a huge success with three Clifton bands competing against bands from Rawmarsh, Oakwood and St Bernards. Although we lost to the outstanding Rawmarsh Y10 band ‘Shotgun in Case’, our pupils pushed themselves to new levels and have really developed their resilience as musicians.
The Rotherham Music Awards are a brand new event that will run for the first time this summer. These awards will recognise the musical talent that we have in the area, as well as those who work tirelessly to support the development of musicians and who create opportunities for performers. Read more
