SHE CAN Visit To London

We had an amazing, day accompanying the girls from the HEpSY SHE CAN programme to London yesterday. After a tour of the Urdang Academy for Musical Theatre and Dance where they learned of alternative ways to study at degree level rather than through a University, we were treated to seats to see ‘School of Rock, the Musical’ to see where graduates of Urdang progress to in employment. Our girls conducted themselves exceptionally well and were a credit to Clifton.

Year 9 Trip to the Holderness

Year 9 Geography Students went to the Holderness Coast on Friday 17th May. Students visited the Seaside town of Hornsea and Mappleton. This is the first of 3 Fieldwork experiences our GCSE Geography students will have over their 3-year course. Students were investigating Coastal Erosion and the Sea Defences put in place to try to reduce the erosion. They will be completing a project on their findings that they will be able to use both in their Paper 1 and 3 of their GCSE exams. Students were a credit to the Clifton and enjoyed the day many sampling the local Fish and Chips or Ice Cream.
