Congratulations, Class of 2020!

Huge congratulations to all Clifton Community School students collecting results today. 2020 has been an extraordinary year, but you worked hard, believed in yourselves and dreamed big. We wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavours – you all deserve it!

Once again, Clifton students have demonstrated excellent progress in their GCSE examinations.
Amongst our top performers were:

  • Ameerah Ali with three Grade 9s and 5 Grade 8s, and two Grade 7s, firmly placing her in the top 5% in the country and demonstrating her all-round academic ability.
  • Habibah Hussain, who exceeded all her targets and achieved four Grade 9s, two Grade 8s, and four Grade 7s.
  • Ellie Bullen, who got a great set of results including two Grade 9s, a Grade 8, five Grade 7s, and a Distinction.
  • Mason Oxborough who successfully attained two Grade 8s, four Grade 7s, two Distinction, and a Level 2 Distinction.
  • Divan Ebot Agbor who since his arrival to Year 11 at Clifton has seized every opportunity also secured an excellent set of GCSE results (one Grade 9, a Grade 8, three Grade 7s, a Grade 6, and a Grade 5.

All of these students are progressing to the next stage in their academic journey at Sixth Form, where they will study a range of courses. They will no doubt continue to be excellent ambassadors of the Clifton Way.

Well done cohort of 2020. Your commitment to learning during your 5 years at Clifton and resilience to rise above challenging circumstances is something you should be proud of. We wish you all excellent luck for the future.
