Clifton had a great time celebrating all things English last week. The students were very enthusiastic and were involved in a number of English related activities.

At the beginning of the week, we had three very special guest visitors to Clifton in the form of Lady Macbeth, Mr Hyde and Havisham.

The pupils were very keen and inquisitive to find out more about the literary characters but were very cautious when visiting the devilish and menacing Mr Hyde.
Students were also involved in a debating club where they were able to express their views on a range of topical issues.

On Wednesday we had some shocking news of a murder (obviously staged) at Clifton school! Students used their fantastic inference skills to work out who had committed the dastardly deed. After all the commotion on Wednesday, we ended the week with a relaxing session of group reading.
