At the end of last half term we launched this year’s half term reading challenge. Extreme reading is a celebration of the different, exciting and fun places you can read a book! This half term we challenged the students to take part in an ‘extreme reading’ challenge. They were challenged to take pictures of themselves reading in an unusual place or interesting position.

The competition was fierce but the final winners are:

Year 7 7.1 with their weird and wacky class photo.

Year 8 – 8.4 Laiba Hussain and Chisom Christopher for their extreme rock climbing photos!

Year 9 – 9.1 for their vast range of different poses both in and outside of school!

We would like to say a big thank you to all of the students who were involved in this challenge and are very excited for this half-terms reading challenge!
