Scientist of the Week

Our Science department have recently launched their “Scientist of the Week” scheme.

Each week, every Science teacher will nominate one Key Stage 3 and one Key Stage 4 pupil to be named ‘Scientist of the Week’. Winners will receive a certificate along with pride of place on the ‘Scientist of the Week’ display board on the Science corridor, as well as a mention on the ‘big screens’ in school, the website and the Facebook page!

Ms Phillips My KS3 ‘Scientist of the Week’ is Salim Swatiwal for outstanding effort in Biology over the past few lessons (answering questions and producing excellent work). My KS4 ‘Scientist of the Week’ is Amaan Khan for improved effort and behaviour in Physics.
Mr Gurran KS3 – Jasmine Hagan – Biology – Consistently good attitude to learning and effort. KS4 – Gohar Shafia – Chemistry – Good attitude and application in practical and theory.
Mr Churcher Ks3 – Lidia Graff – Great extended pieces of writing. Ks4 – Ali Ali -Perseverance.
Ms Burgin KS3 – Gul Yshak Y7  – Excellent effort and trying to improve by completing own revision project at home. KS4 –  Fiza Kamran Y9 – Excellent revision techniques demonstrated during recent assessment.
