Linking the curriculum to real life experiences and exploring the diverse range of opportunities and pathways available in a stimulating, fun and interactive way. Year 10 Scholars Programme – Brilliant Club

UNIfied Trip To Sheffield
/in Careers, Careers Day, School News /by Alex DudleyOn Monday the 4th of February 24 year 10’s had the chance to attend an educational trip in Sheffield. The trip named UNIfied was a collaborative day between The University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University, run through HeppSY+. During the day students had the opportunity to build confidence, negotiation and communication skills along with information about Higher Education within a University institute. The students were really enthused throughout the whole day and showed great confidence in their own ability to progress onto not only further education, but higher education.
Year 10 Careers Event 2018
/in Careers, Careers Day, School News /by Alex DudleyStudents in Y10 recently had a hugely successful afternoon at their careers event. Professionals representing a wide range of post 16 options. It was a very busy but informative afternoon for the students.
Thank you to all the visitors who helped to make the event a successful experience for the students. We are grateful to them for sharing their knowledge and experience and inspiring students as they plan for their future.
Apprenticeships: Be Inspired 2018 Event
/in Careers, School News /by Alex DudleyOn Wednesday 7th March, some of our year 11 students had the opportunity to attend the ‘Apprenticeships: Be inspired’ 2018 event at the Cutlers Hall in Sheffield. This was the perfect opportunity for some of our students to meet employers, understand more about vacancies and industry sector, make connections, distribute their tailored CVs and learn how to apply for the roles.
The feedback from employers was that the preparedness and interaction from the students was brilliant and they felt that the students really had more of an idea than previous years about what an apprenticeship is and why they wanted certain roles.

This is the perfect opportunity to find out all about the Apprenticeships we offer. Employers will be able to find their perfect Apprentice and Apprentices can speak to employers we have relationships with in South Yorkshire in order to find their perfect opportunity.
We have Apprentices ready to start their Level 3 Apprenticeship in Digital Marketing, ICT and Business Admin.
