Y7 Interform March 2019

On Tuesday 12th March we held the Y7’s first interform tournament. All 7 forms battled it out for the first title! Over 50 students were playing and supporting each other throughout and were a credit to their form. 7.7 the eventual winners with a very happy form tutor!

Well done to everyone who took part!

Year 7 Roller Skating Trip

On the Last Wednesday of term before Christmas, 7.3 students had the opportunity to go roller skating as an EDIS reward. The Children had worked hard all term, ensuring that their individual attendance contributed to the whole forms attendance, in order for them to earn Clifton Cash. By the end of last term, they had enough to go on a trip and it was in agreement that they all wanted to go roller skating.

All the children had a great time, either showing off their skills or learning how to skate for the first time. Those who had skated before, promoted the Clifton way, by helping those who were a bit nervous. All the children represented the school well, being polite and well mannered. They all returned having thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Great trip all round!!

7.3 are now aiming to keep up their attendance record so they can go on another reward trip in the summer term.

Y7 Cricket Victory

A very eventful and enjoyable night as the year 7 cricket team took to the field for the first time against Wales.
We won the toss and bowled first, a very good bowling display restricted Wales to 72/5 off their 16 overs with Armaan the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets for 18 runs and a notable-handed catch from Bilaal.
We went into bat and started out chase slowly. Ishaq top scored with 11 runs. Needing 20 runs off the final 4 overs Kashif went in and hit a 2 fours to take us to victory.
Armaan got the man of the match after his brilliant bowling display.
Keep up the good work lads!
