Following the lockdown period and summer break, some of our students were understandably nervous about what the new school year would bring, however since returning we have seen an amazing commitment and resilience towards not only learning but also looking after mental and physical wellbeing.
Each week students are continuing to work on The 5 Ways to Wellbeing and are eagerly getting involved with connecting, being active, learning, giving and taking notice. There has also been a promising interest in current affairs as students are learning about important and inspiring Black luminaries during Black History Month, tolerance and acceptance through Hate Crime Awareness Week, and supporting and understanding mental health illnesses with Mental Health Awareness Day.
We are extremely proud of our achievements and are an example of how at Clifton we believe in ourselves! We look forward to hearing about the interesting ways that our students have kept busy during half term and to see them return in November.
