On Tuesday 2nd July 40 Year 11 Geography students went out the Peak District to Padley Gorge and the Longshaw Estate to investigate River processes and collect data for their GCSE Geography Paper 3 exam. While they were out they took various measurements such as width, speed, depth and looked at rock shape and size. Once they returned to school they have presented and analysed this data and made links to the theories they learnt before they went on the trip. Students were a credit to Clifton and engaged enthusiastically with all the activities. These students will be moving on to their human investigation in September with their visit to Sheffield to look in detail at regeneration.
